Christine Benner, DC
Christine Benner, DC, LAc, is a 1989 graduate of New York Chiropractic College and a 2007 graduate of the Tri-State College of Acupuncture.  She is the director of Oasis Healing Arts in New York City where she practices SOT Chiropractic and Acupuncture.  Dr. Benner is a Certified SOT Practitioner as well as a Certified SOT Cranial Practitioner.   She has extensive knowledge of TBM, AK, and exercise rehabilitation, with a BFA in Dance and experience as a personal trainer.  Dr. Benner has been an SOT instructor since 1998, is chair of SOTO-USA’s board of certification, and a member of the board of directors for SOTO-USA.

Charles L. Blum, DC

Charles L. Blum, DC is in private practice Santa Monica, California and past president of SOTO – USA, now their research chair. Adjunct research faculty atf Cleveland Chiropractic College - Los Angeles and associate faculty at Southern California University of Health Sciences, teaching cranial biodynamics and cranial technique. Dr. Blum is a Certified SOT Cranial Practitioner, and on the peer review board of the Journal of Vertebral Subluxation Research, Association of Chiropractic Colleges, and Journal of Chiropractic Medicine.  He has lectured nationally and internationally, has written various SOT related texts, compiled SOT and cranial related research, and extensively publishes in multiple peer reviewed indexed journals and at research conferences from 1984 to the present.

John Bradley, DC

John Bradley, DC,  Sacro Occipital Technique instructor and lecturer for 4 decades, born in Vancouver British Columbia Canada February 21, 1930; married Faye Harkness 1960,  Doctor of Chiropractic degree, Western States Chiropractic College Portland, Oregon 1960.  Certified in Craniopathy by the International Craniopathic Society.  Private practice in Campbell River, British Columbia Canada 1961 to the present.

Carmine Esposito, DC
Carmine Esposito, DC is in private practice Brooklyn, NY, and is a former faculty New York Chiropractic College, Post Graduate Division; recipient of the Sacro Occipital Research Society International Researcher of the Year award as well as a lecturer, author and technique developer.

Vincent Esposito, DC
Vincent Esposito, DC graduated in 1983 from New York Chiropractic College and has been a faculty member as well as a member of the research committee. He is a Diplomate and Fellow of the International Craniopathic Society. Past member of the Sacro Occipital Research Society International’s research board and recipient of the Researcher of the Year awards in 1993 and 1994. Currently engaged in research, to prove the efficacy of chiropractic therapeutics with MRI. Private practice in Brooklyn and Queens, New York. Published author in the Journal of Neuroscience.

Glenn Frieder, DC
Glenn Frieder, DC graduated from Western States Chiropractic College in 1979.  He has had extensive experience using SOT and Cranial, learned in-depth, from interning with Alan Beardal DC, David Denton DC, Curt Buddingh DC, Richard Stober DC, Santo Puellella DC and worked in the famous Plaza Santa Maria's Cancer Hospital as the staff chiropractor.  He has a private practice in Solano Beach, California and incorporates SOT protocols with nutritional and energetic aspects of healing utilizing homeopathic and flower essences for treatment.

Richard C. Gerardo, DC

Richard C. Gerardo, DC is in private practice Burbank, California. Dr. Gerardo has lectured extensively on SOT, Cranial and TMD since the late 1980s. He lectures at SCUSH and CCC-LA on SOT and cranial therapies. Aside from being a Certified SOT Cranial Practitioner, he is a Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Nutrition, Certified in Clinical Nutrition by IAACN, certified in craniopathy, and has been on staff and was director of the Chiropractic and Craniopathic Center at the Santa Teresita Hospital, Duarte California.   Dr. Gerardo has his BS in Biology from California Polytechnic University, Pomona, California is an advisory board member of SOTO-USA.  He is actively leading the way with chiropractic and dental co-treatment of TMD working in dental chiropractic  interdisciplinary arenas and lecturing on the topic of TMD.

Barry Goldberg, DC, NMD
Barry Goldberg, DC, NMD is in private chiropractic practice, Phoenix, Arizona.  He is a world reknown lecturer on SOT and STO. Past chairman of the board and vice president of International Systemic Health Organization and lectured with Dr. Rees [developer of TS Family and Soft Tissue Orthopedics (STO)] nationally and internationally. Diplomate in American Academy of Pain Management. Completed Naturopathic Medical Doctor degree at American University of Integrative Medicine. Diplomate in STO, Certified Craniopath, and SOT Practitioner.

Jonathan M. P. Howat, DC
Jonathan M. P. Howat, DC is in private practice in Oxford, England and founder of Sacro Occipital Technique Organization (SOTO) – Europe.  Diplomate in Craniopathy and Dean of Academic Affairs for the Cranial Faculty in the College of Chiropractic (United Kingdom).  Dr. Howat lectures world wide on SOT, Craniopathy, and Paediatrics and has Fellowships in the Cranial and Peadatric Faculties.  He has written and developed the modules for the Masters Degree  in Craniopathy, is author of “Anatomy and Physiology of Sacro Occipital Technique” and co-author of the text, “Complementary Therapies in Dentistry.”

  Robert D. Klingensmith, DC

Robert D. Klingensmith, DC is in private chiropractic practice in Sparta, NC. He is   Board certified by American Academy of Pain Management (AAPM) and on the Advisory committee and chiropractic (SOT) liaison to the American Academy of Pain Management.  Aside from being pilot he is WMT/Paramedic/PA certified in several states and a North Carolina level III fire instructor.  Dr. Klingensmith is the executive director of the Sacro Occipital Technique   Organization – USA and is a Certified SOT Practitioner.

  Curtis Langer, DC

Curtis Langer, DC has been practicing chiropractic in Massachusetts since 1976.  While still a student, he attended his first SOT/Cranial seminar taught by Dr. DeJarnette in   Omaha, Nebraska in 1974, and has integrated SOT into his chiropractic practice ever since. An avid windsurfer, mountain biker, and snowboarder, he treats many amateur, professional, and Olympic athletes.  He was chosen as chiropractor for the 1st Transatlantic Windsurfing Race and has lectured throughout the eastern United States.

Michele Longoria, DC
Michele Longoria, DC graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Cleveland Chiropractic College in Los Angeles, where she was the SOT club president and assistant teacher / instructor. Post graduation, Dr. Longoria continued teaching at CCCLA. Since 2001, Dr. Longoria has focused on her private practice in Burbank, California. She has actively continued to broaden her SOT education, and has incorporated complementary modalities, such as yoga, core stabilization and balance techniques, into her practice. Dr. Longoria is currently teaching in the SOT certification series being presented a the Southcrn California University of Health Sciences, Los Angeles, California.

  Jeffrey Malone, DC

Jeffrey Malone, DC graduated from Southern California University of Health Sciences (LACC) in 1995 and practices in Toluca Lake, California.  Dr. Malone is a diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Nutrition and a Certified Clinical Nutritionist. He has been active in teaching SOT at the college level at Cleveland Chiropractic College – Los Angeles and at SOTO-USA regional seminars.  He has Certified SOT Practitioner status with SOTO-USA and has recently been teaching in the SOTO-USA cranial series.

  Jeffrey Mersky DC

Jeffrey Mersky DC has been in private practice for 18 years and currently maintains two offices in San Diego California.  He holds Certified Status as an advanced SOT practitioner and has special emphasis on Cranial and TMJ treatment. He currently serves on the advisory board for SOTO-USA and has been teaching SOT in California for the past few years. Dr. Mersky has special expertise in Clinical Nutrition and is the past Vice President of Claire Laboratories, a nutritional company specializing in Hypoallergenic Pharmaceutical grade products exclusively for the practicing clinician. He is a QME (Qualified Medical Examiner) for the state of California and specializes in dental chiropractic co-treatment of TMD.

Ronald Miklebost, DC
Ronald Miklebost, DC has practiced Chiropractic in San Ramon, California, since 1978 with his wife Stephanie Leonard, DC. He traveled throughout the U.S. with Dr. DeJarnette teaching SOT from 1980-1988. From 1985-1996 he taught elective advanced SOT classes at Life Chiropractic College, West. He is also certified in chiropractic foot care with special attention to examination and casting techniques for fitting of foot orthotic supports.

Steven Moe, DC
Steven Moe, DC graduated from Northwestern College of Chiropractic in 1984 and currently practices in Eden Prarie, Minnesota.  He has certification from the International College of Applied Kinesiology and is pursuing certification with Sacro-Occipital Technique Organization – USA and his Diplomate in Neurology from The Carrick Institute for Graduate Studies.  Dr. Moe has many new innovate methods of care integrating neurological application and sacro occipital and cranial techniques.  He assists a variety of athletes (from golfers, football players, hockey players, soccer players, swimmers, runners) with a wide array of conditions.

Robert Monk, DC

Robert Monk, DC is the primary doctor of the Gentle Chiropractic Office located in Briarcliff, New York from 1987 to the present. His office combines Sacro-Occipital Technique with massage   therapy to relax muscles and reduce painful conditions. Dr. Robert Monk, a certified SOT and SOT Cranial instructor as well as a Craniopath, is a founding   member of and certified instructor for SOTO-USA.  He is the author of the SOT Level 1 & 2 Manuals, the SOT Extremity Manual, and the SOT Cranial Manuals 1, 2, and 3.  Dr. Monk has extensive experience in treating the Hispanic community and has developed state of the art patient management skills for treating Spanish speaking patients and teaching these methods to non-Spanish speaking chiropractors.

Alireza Panahpour, DDS
Alireza Panahpour, DDS' continuing education and his natural proclivity as a healer has lead him to develop and evolve an overall holistic wellness practice. He is the core founder of an evolving Center for Holistic Health, which is innovatively networking various specialists and developing new, superior programs to guide patients towards optimum health treatment plans from among the wide field of options and specialties. Dr. Alireza Panahpour is now working to expand his vision to include a wider array of complementary services to be assembled in a single, unique and supportive building (Holistic Health Center.) Dr. Panahpour has had extensive training studying Neural Therapywith Dr. Dietrich Klinghardt, acupuncture with Dr. Yoshiaki Omura, and TMD cotreatment with leaders in the field such as Robert Walker, DC, Brendan Stack, and others.

Martin Rosen, DC


Martin G. Rosen, D.C. is a 1981 summa cum laude graduate of Life Chiropractic College.  He lives with his wife Nancy Watson, D.C., and their two children, Emily age 21 and Erin age 17 in Natick Massachusetts.  For the past 22 years Dr. Rosen has maintained a successful family oriented wellness care practice in Wellesley MA.  He is the current chairman of the SOTO-USA pediatric and research committees and the past chairman of the SORSI research committee.  Over the last 19 years he has taught S.O.T, craniopathy, and pediatrics nationally as well as lecturing on practice management, philosophy, and technique protocols.  He has written the only Pediatric Participant Guide for S.O.T, The Pediatric S.O.T Spinal Adjusting Manual, The Pediatric Cranial Adjusting Manual and has contributed to the re-writing and updating of several S.O.T related publications. 

He has been a quest speaker and teacher for numerous organizations such as SOTO-USA, SORSI, ICA-MA, Massachusetts Alliance for Chiropractic Philosophy, WCA Clinical Symposium, Forsythe Dental Clinic, Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA. and Children’s Hospital of Boston. His articles have been published in The American Chiropractor, The Journal of Vertebral Subluxation Research, and the SOTO-USA Dural Connection.  Dr. Rosen is a certified SOTO-USA instructor, practitioner and craniopath, on the Board of Governors for the WCA, instructor for the ICPA, Advisory Board member of SOTO-USA, and a consulting member of the Committee for Chiropractic Practice.

Anthony Rosner, PhD

Dr. Rosner was past the Director of the Foundation for Chiropractic Education and Research, (FCER) since 1992.  He directs, reviews  and troubleshoots over 60 research programs (basic and clinical trials) pertaining  to chiropractic care, primarily headed by principal investigators at colleges and universities.  RAND Corporation, think tanks and clinical centers worldwide. Assesses and defines priorities of chiropractic research and communicates to both applicants and prospective sources of funding. Serves on editorial boards of three peer-reviewed journals, and  reviews for one other. Directs fellowship and research residency programs  funded by FCER . Presents seminars/workshops on research worldwide. He has also chaired one of six founding committees of the NIH Office of Alternative Medicine. Presented full-annotated testimony before governmental agencies [Department of Defense, Veterans‘ Administration, White House Commission on Complementary and Alternative Medicine.  Author of a multitude of published articles and monographs providing a critical reviewof the strengths and weaknesses of previously published clinical research.

Rodney Shelley, DC
Rodney Shelley, DC is a 1976 graduate of Los Angeles Chiropractic College.  He has owned and operated single doctor, multi-doctor and multidiscipline clinics for 20 years.  He is a certified Sacro Occipital Technique Instructor and Certified Craniopath.  In 1978 he began the publishing and distribution of educational materials for use in doctor’s offices.  He has taught weekend seminars 2 – 3 times per month for several years to chiropractors, dentists and other health care practitioners. Classes included the use of reflexes as developed by Dr. De Jarnette, DO, DC and Standard Process products.  He was an Advanced Technique Instructor at the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic through 1984.  He is currently the president of Nutritional Essentials Group, Inc. a consultation service for doctors who want one-on-one coaching on how to integrate nutritional support in their practices.

David Shirazi, DDS

David Shirazi, DDS practices as a Dentist at TMJ and Sleep Therapy Centre in Thousand Oaks, California. graduated from Howard University College of Dentistry with a California State Board licensed acupuncturist and an active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity, Santa Barbara/Ventura County Dental Association, and the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain. degree.

David Simmons, DC is a 1979 graduate of Cleveland Chiropractic College - Los Angeles and has been a certified SOT instructor since 1984.  He has a full time practice inTemple City, California specializing in SOT methods of care. Dr.Simmons has taught at both the Cleveland Chiropractic College - LosAngeles and currently at Southern California University of Health Science'sSOT Clubs.  He has taught SOT seminars with SOTO-USA since 2000and is a Certified SOT Practitioner.

Paul Wilson, DC
Paul J. Wilson DC is a 2001 graduate of Logan College.  He maintains a practice in West Virginia using SOT chiropractic, nutritional and hormone assessment and corrective exercise.  Dr. Wilson has been studying functional movement and joint mobility over the past few years and incorporating it into his practice.  He also has done post-grad work in Acupuncture and SOT craniopathy.
